Firehose Chat is a product developed by Mysterious Trousers that enables our customers to have a live, real-time chat with any visitor on their website. I was responsible for developing the chat widget that gets installed on our customer's websites, as well as maintaining an Ember.js web application that allows our customers to chat their visitors through a web browser.
The Pitt Computer Science Club is an initiative that I started at the University of Pittsburgh in July of 2014 as a way for students to teach and learn from each other through collaborating on projects, presenting fun, interactive workshops and fostering networking both among students and with the larger Pittsburgh technological community.
